Micro Shows

We are excited to announce our Micro-Show Series! These will be additional performance opportunities throughout the year hosted in our Black Box Theatre. From well known stories to new concepts, our Micro-Shows will be a place to enhance your creativity, technique, stage presence and more. There will also be opportunities to get involved in set, lighting, and sound design, costuming, choreography, and more.

Theatre Micro Shows

Theatre Micro Shows are high-energy camps where students put on a full play in just one month. From first rehearsal to final bow, they build confidence, learn teamwork, and experience the excitement of performing on stage.

  • 42nd Annual Pie-Rating Convention

    Kids Theatre Micro Show | 1st - 6th Grade
    Fridays: 5-8 PM and Saturdays: 9 AM-3 PM | September 11-26

    Due to an apparent breakdown in communication, a crew of pirates unwittingly crashes the 42nd Annual Canadian Pastry Judging Convention, in other words the Pie-Rating Convention. Leaving the good-natured Canadian Patriot Alan to handle the situation.

  • The Great Wanderings of Odysseus, Starring Cameron Fitch!

    Youth Theatre Micro Show | 3rd - 12th Grade
    Fridays: 5-8 PM and Saturdays: 9 AM-3 PM | October 2-24

    Cameron Fitch cut class and skipped the quiz on The Odyssey. Now he has to write and present a play based on the classic starring himself as Odysseus and casting his class as the ship’s crew, the Cyclops, the Lotus Eaters, and all the rest. The problem is that Cameron may be just a little too much like Odysseus for his own good.

  • The Velveteen Rabbit

    Youth Theatre Micro Show | 3rd-12th Grade
    Fridays: 5-8 PM and Saturdays: 9 AM-3 PM | February 5-27

    Based on the cherished book by Margery Williams, this tender tale follows a toy rabbit who longs to be truly loved. Through the eyes of a child and the wisdom of his grandmother, this moving production explores the power of friendship, transformation, and the enduring magic of childhood.

Dance Micro Show

Our Dance Micro-Show is a performance experience where students learn and bring a full piece to the stage in just one month. Through focused rehearsals, they build technique, confidence, and stage presence culminating in an exciting final performance.

Student Choreography Project

8th -12th Grade
Fridays: 5-8 PM and Saturdays: 9 AM-3 PM | January 8-30

The Student Choreography Project is a creative experience where students become the choreographers and performers. In just one month, they’ll collaborate to create original dances, build confidence, and bring their ideas to life on stage in a final performance.

Musical Micro Show

Musical Micro-Shows are a fast-paced performance experience where students learn and bring a full piece to the stage in just one month. Through focused rehearsals, they build technique, confidence, and stage presence culminating in an exciting final musical performance.

Ready Player Three

5th -12th Grade
Fridays: 5-8 PM and Saturdays: 9 AM-3 PM | January 8-30

Step into a high-energy musical adventure where middle school drama collides with retro video game chaos. Former best friends Alex, Lance, and Harper, now reluctant rivals, are suddenly pulled into a glitchy 1990s educational game where they transform into avatars completely unlike who they believe themselves to be. To escape before it is game over, the trio must decode riddles, conquer challenges, rescue one another, and rediscover the strengths they left behind.
